Mullingar Shamrocks congratulate Frank Mescall on his election as Chairman of Westmeath GAA County Committee.

Frank's first association with the GAA in Westmeath was when he coached a team from the Millmount area in the Mullingar Street League and of course he managed the Mullingar Shamrocks senior team that won the senior championship title in 2000 defeating Tyrrellspass in the final played in the most atrocious weather conditions after going very close in 1999 losing to Tyrrellspass in the semi-final.
