Under-12 LGF too strong for Delvin-St Pauls ...

Our Under-12 LGF played Delvin-St Paul's in Clonmellon on Saturday afternoon. Shamrocks opened brightly with a goal from their first attack. They continued to play some terrific football throughout the game. Delvin-St Paul's never gave up though and their strong midfield were always a threat. All 17 girls on the Shamrocks team played their part and the girls thoroughly deserved their win. Their next match is next Thursday July 30 at 6.00pm at home to Multyfarnham/Clann Gaels

Mullingar Shamrocks: Abigail Molloy, Adeline Bowen, Aya Hacini, Eabha Moran, Ella Briody, Ellie O'Donnell, Katie Matthews, Marta Paul, Molly Maguire, Naima Whelan, Niamh Bowen, Nicola Byrne, Róisin Nohilly, Saoirse Corroon, Sarah Ford, Shauna Russell, Tess Foy.

The LGF girls opened their post-lockdown campaign at the Harbour Field on Tuesday evening and although they fought hard, were overcome by a more physical and stronger team in Ballycomoyle, who led from the start and ended deserving winners.
