Recommended Viewing ...

We haven't done this before but tomorrow (Sunday) TG4 at 2.00 features what at the time was regarded as one of the greatest if not the greatest game of hurling played: the Munster final of 2004 played on 4 June (on the day that Westmeath beat Wexford to qualify for the Leinster final with Shane Colleary scoring the goal that guaranteed the final place).

Anyway there is no Waterford bias here but all Under-21s in the club would have no idea of the magnificence of this game.

It will be interesting to see how its status as one of the greatest games of all time stands the test of time.

Watch out for Paul Flynn's famous dipping swerving top-spinning goal from a free that Dónal Óg didn't even see and Ken McGrath's incredible catch at the end as he out-fielded 'The Rock'. Take this opportunity to see one of the greatest hurlers of all time in all his glory.

And 'Dan the Man' and Eoin Kelly and John Mullane sent off early in the second half.

We'll recommend a football game to watch out for later in the series (Down v Derry) ...

So start the dinner early or schedule it for later ... tune in to TG4 at 2.00 for the 'Riverdance of Hurling' match ...
