In case anyone missed the announcement or the message is misunderstood ...

As of midnight Friday:

- Everyone must stay at home in all circumstances, except essential services, grocery shopping, medicines, care for relatives/children/elderly and brief exercise within 2km of your home

-You may travel to and from work, where your work is an essential health, social care or other essential service that cannot be done from home (list to follow)

- All public and private gatherings of any number of people are banned

- All non-essential shops closed (details to follow)

- All community centres closed.

- Shielding or cocooning introduced to all over 70s and those at risk

- All visits to offshore islands banned

- No travel outside of 2km of your home (except reasons listed above) for any reason.

These are the recommendations from the National Public Health Emergency Team and have been adopted in full by the government.
