The Third Round Count completed ...

Another 9 entrants departed the scene on Sunday reducing the field to 29 entrants out of 385 entries with less than half the league completed. Tom Daly’s hopes were dashed on the double with Limerick’s late goal against Carlow and he’ll be hoping that younger sister Grace can maintain her interest in the competition. Kate and Austin Keaveney are still in contention as are Aidan and Richie O’ Donoghue. Paddy Colleary and Paul Keating are the main hopes left from the Shamrocks’ under age section and Chloe Swarbrigg and Holly McCormack are flying the flag for the ladies’ section. Tang still have a say with Denis Bannon and Oisin Conway successfully coming through round three and Killucan-Raharney are well represented through Billy Boyle, his daughter Aoife and Noel Croash. Contrary to earlier reports Ross Brady is still very much in the race and could very well be the competition favourite at this stage with an inform Armagh and Offaly his choices in round four.
