The late Ann Collins ...

The Mullingar Shamrocks family expresses its deepest sympathy to Paddy Collins on the death of his wife Ann. Sympathy is also extended to Enda and grand-daughter Amy, daughter-in-law Sandra, sisters Kathleen and Rosaleen, sister-in-law Carmel, brother-in-law Ollie, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

In the days before Westmeath GAA expanded its facilities to include an office in Cusack Park, Ann was the point of personal or telephone contact for numerous GAA officials locally and nationally at her Green Road home as Paddy, one of Westmeath's legendary GAA men, pursued his day job. Ann was of course one of the great Westmeath supporters. No doubt, Ann and her great friend Tommy Lennon are discussing the future of Westmeath GAA in their own inimitable way in some heavenly mansion and smiling at the good of it all.

Ann's funeral Mass takes place on Friday at 10.00 am in the Cathedral of Christ the King followed by burial in Milltown Rathconrath Cemetery.
