ACL Div. 6 team edge Delvin.

Mullingar Shamrocks division 6 team had a good away win on Sunday morning and 22 players travelled to Delvin. An eclectic mix to say the least. We had a great first half and lead by 9 points at half time thanks to 2 great goals by Dillon Matthew who soloed though at pace from midfield. Adam McCormack had a great first half also and kicked 3 points from play. We lead throughout the game but needed a goal from Peter Collins at end of game to hold off a strong second half performance from Delvin who never gave up. All players who made the journey to Delvin received game time in what was a wonderful mix of youth, experience and everything in between.
