The Flanagan Cup returned from the repair yard complete with two handles, polished and shining like new, and proudly inscribed with the name of the 2018 county champions and was introduced to our under-age players on Saturday morning to the excitement of all. Eddie Moore, the captain fantastic of 2018, was there as well as many of the players who performed so well in the history making county final. The photo opportunities were availed of to the full. No doubt some of these pictures will be rolled out in the future when some of these young players step out in the Cusack Park in the green and white jersey with the biggest prize in Westmeath football or ladies Gaelic football at stake.
