Congratulations and commiserations ...

It was a busy weekend for some of our members in other fields and events. We've already mentioned Megan Fagan who starred at corner back for the University of Dublin LGF team that won the Lynch Cup beating the Garda College 3-16 to 3-8 in the final, the first Lynch Cup title for the college in twenty-one years.

Two of our under-14 footballers, Tadhg Sheridan and John Ryan were members of St Mary's CBS team that won the Minor All-Ireland Cross Country title at the weekend. Congrats lads.

And it was hard luck for Katie McCarthy who represented the county and club with distinction in the Leinster Finals of Scór in Wexford on Sunday. Unfortunately on this occasion it was not to be for Katie who performed a superb version to The Town I Loved So Well.
